In this lab, we added starch, and water together in a plastic sandwich bag, and then placed the bag in water with a couple drops of iodine. Through out the class period we took a couple observations, and then took an observation the next day. During the period we noticed that the water outside of the bad had turned yellow, and the starch in the bag was white on the bottom and then went yellow, and then pink at the top. The next day we observed that everything had turned clear. The water outside of the bag was back to clear, and the starch was back to white, with a little pink at the very bottom.
